Hi Legend,

Unashamedly Human Moments with Emily are designed to help you better understand what the fuck is going on inside that head of yours.

Because here's the thing that very few coaches will tell you (but I'm not most coaches) - emotions are complicated, life is noisy, the world is full of pricks who piss you off and let's be bloody honest, being a grown up is way harder than you were led to believe it would be when you were a kid. My 8 year old self would be appalled that my 38 year old self doesn't eat sweets (lollies, candy, bonbons) for breakfast every day or stay up past her bedtime every night. She'd be shocked that I don't have all the answers; that I haven't got it all figured out and that the beasts in the night get scarier. But, because I'm not 8 years old anymore, I (annoyingly) have to take full responsibility for my emotional state.

The thing is it often feels like our emotions are controlling us and not the other way round.

This manifests in some pretty shitty results;
finding ourselves in unfulfilling jobs;
feeling stagnant and like life is slipping by;
loneliness that has nothing to do with being alone;
relationships that drain instead of give energy;
never feeling like we have enough (time, money, energy)
never feeling like we are enough (did someone say impostor syndrome?)
worrying about the future instead of enjoying the now;

I mean, I could go on but jeez, it's getting depressing! We all know life can be shit, but how can we make it better?

Well if I say the word meditation, you'll probably roll your eyes or vomit a little in your mouth so I won't, I'll use the word contemplation instead.

In a series of 5 short daily videos, I am going to guide you through the unique process I use to better understand and manage my emotions so that I can really know myself and from this place, make certain, confident decisions; set firm and compassionate boundaries; nurture deep and connected relationships; tap into inspired creativity and manifest epic material wealth.

None of that is possible if I don't do this daily practice.

These are not your normal "meditations". We'll laugh, I'll swear and we'll be utterly Unashamedly Human. I won't ask you to sit in silence for 20 minutes, quieten your mind (mine ain't quiet, ever) or be anything that you're not. I just ask that you rock up with an open mind to these short 10-15 minutes videos. You are enough, so come as you are (sings Nirvana, shows her age).

Welcome to the process of being Unashamedly Human. It is a privilege for me to be by your side as we go through this awesome practise.
